For thousands of years, the Jewish people have had a tradition of taking care of those in need. That tradition continues through the work of UJA Greenwich. Every day, here in Greenwich and throughout the world, the work of UJA Greenwich is felt by thousands of people.

Israel and the World

In more than 60 countries around the world, the Federation provides life-saving and life-affirming support to Jewish communities and individuals.

JAFI and JDC, on your behalf, ensure that no Jew is left behind no matter where in the world he or she may live. These agencies rescue and resettle Jews in need and ensure their absorption and education.

Over the decades, millions of immigrants have been brought to Israel from the Former Soviet Union and from Ethiopia. The success of UJA Greenwich reflects the devotion of the many volunteers who help us accomplish these goals together, in a way that none of us would be able to do on our own.

Building Community

Women's Philanthropy

Women's Philanthropy, with its own Board of Directors, enables women to strengthen the Jewish community through raising funds and participating in educational and social programs. Women's Philanthropy also provides opportunities to develop leadership and fundraising skills, to enhance Jewish identity and to deepen ties within the community.

Israel Advocacy & Education

Through the JCCA Emissary program, we bring programs to educate the community about Israel and current events that affect Israel's future. The emissaries work at a variety of schools and organizations in our community that represent a spectrum of Jewish affiliation, as well as community programs at JCC Greenwich.

Newcomers Network

We have an active committee which reaches out to newcomers in the community. Events include a cocktail party, informal coffees, and joint programs with community organizations. Get involved today!

Adult Education

Throughout the year, UJA Greenwich sponsors lecturers, classes, lunch and learn programs and mini-courses. Often these programs are coordinated with the local synagogues and other Jewish organizations to attract as many people in the community as possible.

Community Programs

UJA Greenwich sponsors several community-wide programs, such as the celebration of Israel Independence Day, a Holocaust Memorial Service, and Education Day. Our programs with JCC Greenwich provide exemplary programs for children and adults in the community, from arts, cinema, and political seminars to hands-on kids workshops.

PJ Library Parent Planners

Get involved with PJ Library Parent Planners to help coordinate PJ Library events for kids ages 8 and under or just come and enjoy the fun.
