UJA Greenwich Privacy Policy
UJA Greenwich (“UJA”) has established this privacy policy to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used.  This privacy policy may be updated from time to time.  UJA will provide notice of materially significant changes to this privacy policy by posting notice on the UJA website.
1.  Data Collection
UJA will sometimes collect your email address for purposes such as sending self-published and confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, registering for forums or other newsletters, etc.
For paid job postings, contact information will be collected.  Contact information includes, but is not limited to, name(s), phone/fax number(s), and address for billing purposes.
Phone numbers are sometimes collected for account authentication purposes and may be transmitted to a third party service for verification.
UJA will not store credit card information.  Sales of items or services on the UJA website must either be for cash or conducted through PayPal or similar payment system.
UJA may collect personal information if such personal information is provided in feedback or comments, posted in classifieds or other forums, or if you contact us directly.  Please do not post or otherwise transmit any personal information that you expect us to keep private.
UJA automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp.  These records help us diagnose server problems, administer the UJA site, and to otherwise provide our service to you.
2. Data Storage
All classified ads are either stored in our database or archived elsewhere even after “deletion.”
Web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
A good faith effort is made to store information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, however, UJA cannot guarantee complete security.
3.  Circumstances in which UJA May Release Information
UJA may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
UJA may also disclose information about is users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (1) enforce our Terms of Use; (2) respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or (3) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of UJA, its users or the general public.
4.  International Users
By visiting the UJA web site and providing us with data, you acknowledge and agree that we may use the data collected in the course of our relationship for the purposes identified in this policy or in our other communications with you, including the transmission of information outside your resident jurisdiction.  In addition, please understand that such data may be stored on servers located in the United States.  By providing us with your data, you consent to the transfer of such data.
